Supporting learning together
Families are expected to support high academic standards, provide a suitable place for study and encourage students to complete homework and assignments. Parents are also asked to participate in conferences and school processes when required.
Love, honour, respect and care
Student conduct is guided by Jesus’ command to love God and love our neighbour. The school’s discipline model emphasises repentance, restitution and restoration while protecting a positive learning environment.
Show respect and obedience to those entrusted with authority.
Use kind speech, include others, seek forgiveness and respect property.
Use books, furniture, equipment, buildings and grounds responsibly.
Discipline: The school states that it does not inflict corporal punishment. Responses may include conferences, demerits, detention, suspension, withdrawal of privileges or other proportionate action.
Uniform and appearance
The uniform supports a focused atmosphere, school identity and modest, orderly presentation. Families are responsible for ensuring students arrive in the correct uniform with clean, neat hair and appropriate footwear.
Attendance and punctuality
Classes begin at 8:00 a.m. Students are expected to attend daily, arrive on time, bring their learning materials and follow the goals set for the day. After-school care may be offered when there is sufficient demand; confirm current arrangements with the school office.
When a learner is unwell
Students should remain at home when ill. Any medication brought to school must be in its original container, labelled with the student’s name, medication name, dosage and timing instructions, and handed to a school employee by a parent or guardian.
